Our Teaching Sites

Rhode Island Hospital (RIH)

The state's largest hospital and the third-largest hospital in New England, RIH is designated as the Level 1 Trauma Center for Southeastern New England, providing expert staff and equipment in 24 hours a day.

Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island

A Care New England hospital and one of the nation’s leading specialty hospitals for women and newborns.

Office of the Medical Examiner

The Office of the Medical Examiner provides leadership, education, and expertise in forensic pathology practice for the State of Rhode Island.

Providence VA Medical Center

The Providence VAMC is a 230-bed facility providing acute inpatient and ambulatory care in medicine, surgery, and neurology.

The Miriam Hospital

A 247-bed facility that provides a broad range of primary, secondary, and tertiary medical and surgical services in 31 medical and surgical specialties and sub-specialties.

Rhode Island Blood Center

The Rhode Island Blood Center runs full-time donation centers across the State of Rhode Island, providing blood for patients at more than 60 hospitals throughout New England.
