Curriculum/Rotations

The Residency program curriculum balances broad exposure to laboratory techniques at the bench with time for study and research.

Welcome to our pathology program, where we provide a wide array of training track options to cater to your individual preferences and aspirations. Among the choices available, the most favored and commonly pursued track is the combined Anatomical Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP), followed by Anatomical Pathology (AP) only, Anatomical Pathology/Neuropathology (AP/NP).  A Clinical Pathology track with a focus on research (CP/PS) is also available for the exceptional physician scientist who has identified a potential research mentor(s) in the local Brown research community. Regardless of the track you choose, each option mandates a minimum of 18 months of board-required rotations, complemented by a variety of elective and research rotations to enrich your experience.
